PU Mould tools

Polyurethane is one of the toughest, most wear resistant engineering polymers available today. Precision components are moulded from high performance Polyurethane (PU) & offer exceptional cut & tear resistance, outstanding abrasion resistance, dynamic load bearing capabilities and a wide temperature operating range. We can take a component drawing and manufacture a mould to suit, or we can work to specific customer drawings for more complex shapes and sizes.

We work with our clients to ensure that each mould is to the required standard to allow them to produce consistent products again and again.

Mould tools can be fabricated or machined from carbon steel or aluminium depending on the project requirements.

Our highly trained staff are also available for onsite work at our customers chosen location (Onshore). All site trained staff carry CSCS cards to prove they are safety conscious and qualified to be there. This is paramount to North View Engineering Solutions Ltd as we want our staff and more importantly our customers staff to be safe at all times. We believe that a “No one gets hurt” policy is something to strive for and maintain.

We have an excellent safety record to date, and we aim to keep that record at 0 accidents for the foreseeable future. We can offer site welding and fabrication as well as project management if required.

Our large scale heavy fabrication workshops, are manned by a skilled team of fabricators and welders with over 40 years experience. Our service offering allows us to offer design services, prototyping and full production runs. We can precision engineer products from various grades of carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium as well as other exotic materials upon request.

We have a range of qualified weld procedures to cover all of the standard material grades we offer, and we have the capability to qualify new weld procedures in house to allow us to meet your exacting project requirements.

Previous projects have included LARS (Launch and recovery systems), Pig Bodys, ‘A’Frames, Reel Stations, Bore Covers, ROV Handling, Repair Clamps, Lever Arms, Bell mouths, Swivel Supports, Diverless Bend Stiffener Connectors, Recovery Clamps, Moon Pool Connectors, Sheaves & Block Assemblies, Spring Loaded Shackles, Crane Beams, Bridge Sections, Crane Pedestals, Platforms, Pipe Supports, Electrical Supports, Stair Towers, Hatch Covers, Bearings, Pressure Tanks / Vessels and Plate Fabrications. Welding is fully coded. Weld procedures qualified to both European and American standards, and are available on request, however, NVES organises itself around our clients requirements and regularly invests in updating its’ procedures / qualifications to suit the contract needs.

At North View Engineering Solutions Ltd we are able to take on projects of any size. Whether it is a small machined component or a large scale fabrication and installation we can do it. Our dedicated management team are very hands on in their management of projects. This gives our client a face they can relate to and also establishes a single point of contact to aid in communication.

We can guide you through changes or possible issues with designs, right through to final site installation or assembly. Nothing is too difficult for us to manage.

Communication is vital to the success of any project & we always keep our customers fully informed as to the status of their project. This can be done as a weekly or monthly report, or a simple phone call as and when required. We also welcome visits from our clients if they want to see their project come together.

Using our manufacturing, fabrication and machining knowledge we can optimise components, fabrications and assemblies from a structural, reliability and manufacturing perspective, bringing potential cost savings to our customers from both an operational and capital expenditure perspective.

Our project team work to a wide range of mechanical and structural codes and use a mixture of 3D modeling and analysis software, rapid proto-typing machines, internal design tools and a wealth of engineering experience to ensure you receive the best possible service and product we can provide.

Our combined experience covers most sectors including offshore oil & gas, subsea, marine, renewables, petrochemical, defence, rail, industrial and automotive.

We can offer assistance with specific design and build projects, or simply support design verification or the modification of existing designs.  We can also undertake site surveys to assess the condition of existing equipment that requires repair or replacement and advise on appropriate actions that need to be taken thereafter.
